General Terms and Conditions of Sale

The Customer’s order implies acceptance of all the terms and conditions.

 

Ordering

All orders imply acceptance of prices and descriptions of products on sale.

The Buyer is responsible for the details he/she provides when making an order: in case of an error in the recipient's address, SACASTAR.CO.UK cannot be held responsible for failing to deliver the product.

SACASTAR.CO.UK reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order from a customer with whom there has been a dispute over payment of a previous order or who it considers may present a risk.

 

 
Prices

 

All product prices are indicated in pounds, including VAT. The products will be charged according to prices in effect at the time of order entry unless there is an obvious error. SACASTAR.CO.UK reserves the right to modify its prices at any time without notice. The products remain the property of SACASTAR.CO.UK until full payment is received. The price is payable in full in one single payment. Payment in three instalments with no fees is offered (see payment).

 

 
Products

 

All products will be billed based on prices in effect at the time of ordering. SACASTAR.CO.UK reserves the right to modify its prices at any time without notice.

Sacastar.co.uk implements the principles, adopted in December 2009, in the anti-counterfeiting Charter against Counterfeiting on the Internet. We guarantee the authenticity of the products offered for sale on Sacastar.co.uk and can provide our internet users with all the supplier certifications for our brands. We are devoted to transparency concerning the origin of products offered, our supply sources and our business as an authorized retailer. 

 

 
Shipping and Delivery

 

Deliveries are made from Monday to Friday to the address indicated. If you are not at home, a delivery notice will be left for you. Your parcel will be available for collection at your nearest post office.

On receipt of the parcel the customer should check it immediately, and the carrier "La Poste" should be notified of any issues by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt within 3 days of receipt of the parcel.SACASTAR.CO.UK cannot be held responsible for late deliveries in the event of specific external factors (strikes, natural disasters, etc.)

If you have not received your order, a delivery notice, or any information regarding the order through the online tracking service seven days after the date at which the parcel was dispatched, please go to your nearest post office.

If the Carrier has no trace of the parcel, please contact SACASTAR.CO.UK Customer Services as soon as possible at: info@sacastar.com.

Our Customer Services will open an inquiry with the carrier. You will receive an email stating that an inquiry has been opened and that the response times vary between 10 to 30 days thereafter. If the parcel is found, it will be sent to you immediately. If the parcel is considered lost, SACASTAR.CO.UK will fully refund the order.

 

 
Payment

 

The order will be considered valid after the bank payment has been confirmed. If payment is refused by the bank, the order will be cancelled.

The cards accepted are: Carte Bleue, Visa, Eurocard Mastercard, American Express.

 

If the order is to be paid for by check. Your order will be processed once your order and payment by bank check have been received. The check will be cashed upon receipt or, if additional verification is necessary, upon receipt of the supplementary information requested for this.

For Belgium, Switzerland and Luxembourg: payment can only be made by credit card or PayPal.

 

 
Exceptional condition

In any event, SACASTAR.CO.UK reserves the right to refuse any order or delivery in the case of a dispute with the Purchaser, due to total non-payment or partial payment of a previous order by the Buyer, or due to a bank's non-authorization of a credit card payment.

SACASTAR.CO.UK uses a verification procedure to prevent fraudulent use of bank details while ordering on their website. As part of this verification, the customer will be asked to send a copy of both sides of his/her identity card and proof of residence dated within the last three months to SACASTAR.CO.UK (by fax or post). The order will be shipped after receiving verification of the documents submitted. SACASTAR.CO.UK reserves the right to refund the said order in case of the non-receipt of documents or upon receipt of non-compliant documents. Only customers who have placed an order for an amount greater than the amount defined by Sacastar must provide these documents. Once the order is processed, the relevant Buyer will receive an email from SACASTAR.CO.UK Customer Services.

 

 
Returns and refunds

 

At SACASTAR.CO.UK, once you receive your product you have 30 days to return it, without providing a reason or incurring penalties. Only the amount paid for the product(s) will be refunded, within 30 days, after the date on which the right to cancel has been exercised. However, return costs are to be paid by the customer. No cash-on-delivery parcels will be accepted, whatever the reason. 

For a refund the product(s) must be returned within 30 days, in its/their original packaging to the following address:

For all returns, please send your product to the address above, with a note explaining why you wish to return the product. The returned product(s) will be refunded as soon as SACASTAR.CO.UK receives the product(s). Any damaged, soiled or incomplete products returned will not be taken back or refunded.
The refund will be directly credited to the customer's account, or, if payment was made by check, the refund will be paid by check, made out to the customer who placed the order and sent to their billing address.

The cost of returning the product(s) is the customer's responsibility, unless we made a mistake in the delivery of your order, in which case SACASTAR.CO.UK will pay for the cost of returning the parcel. In this case, the item must be returned to us within a maximum period of 15 days. To request a return slip, contact us at info@sacastar.com or by phone on +33 (0)826 382 880.

 

Please note that the product must be returned in its original packaging and must not have been worn or be damaged. Any products returned damaged, soiled or incomplete will not be refunded.

 

 
Secure transactions

 

SACASTAR.CO.UK make every effort to guarantee a secure online paying system.

All banking operations are carried out in collaboration with the Societe Generale.  No bank data is passed through SACASTAR.CO.UK.

When paying by check, this must be issued by a bank domiciled in France Metropolitan. The check will be cashed on receipt except when payments are in instalments.

 

 
Intellectual property

 

The total or partial reproduction of the SACASTAR.CO.UK website is strictly prohibited without prior agreement. All texts, comments, works, illustrations and images reproduced on SACASTAR.CO.UK are reserved under copyright and as intellectual property worldwide.

As such and in accordance with the Code of Intellectual Property, only private use is authorized, subject to different or more restrictive provisions of intellectual property legislation. Without the prior written consent of SACASTAR.CO.UK, the offender shall be liable for prosecution.

 

 
Applicable law and skills transfer

 

These terms and conditions are governed by French law. In case of dispute concerning the interpretation and enforcement hereof, and failing amicable solution, exclusive jurisdiction is given to the competent courts.

 

 
Liability and seller identification

 

In any event, Sacastar.co.uk's liability is limited to the order amount. It cannot be blamed for simple errors or omissions that may occur despite all precautions taken in the presentation of products. For all stages of site access, the order process, delivery, customer service and all subsequent services, Sacastar.co.uk is only bound by an obligation of means. Sacastar.co.uk shall not be held liable for any inconveniences or damage arising from the use of the Internet, including connection interruptions, external intrusions or the presence of computer viruses, or any force majeure, in accordance with the law.

Warranty

 

SACASTAR.CO.UK After Sales Service  strives to meet the requirements of a quality product. This is why we send you instructions for each individual item so that you can enjoy your product as quickly as possible.

For practical reasons, faulty products should be returned directly to the supplier for a quick repair. Remember to give your contact details so the product can be sent directly back to your home address. Repair is free and will not be subject to any additional charges. If return shipping costs are incurred, to send the item to us, these costs will be the customer's responsibility.

 

 
Identifiable details

 

Under the Data Protection Act of 06/01/1978, the customer has a right of access, rectification and opposition on recorded data. This right of rectification may be exercised at any time by email to the following address: info@sacastar.com
